By Terry Witt – Spotlight Senior Reporter

Bronson candidates running in the town’s April 4 municipal election have been invited to participate in a public question and answer session Thursday at the Levy County Government Center.

The candidates’ forum, sponsored by the Town of Bronson, begins at 5:30 p.m. and is open to the public. Town Manager Susan Beaudet is expected to serve as the questioner.

Julie Stalnaker, Jordan Jabbar, and Franklin Schuler are competing for Seat 4. Mark Kjeseth and Virginia Phillips are running for Seat 2.

Councilman Aaron Edmondson and Councilman Jason Hunt have retired from public office, creating two vacancies on the Bronson Town Council. There are no incumbents in the election.

The forum will take place in the auditorium of the government center on School Street behind the Levy County Courthouse. The government center was formerly Bronson High School.

The Levy County Government Center, 310 School Street, Bronson, will be the site of a Bronson candidate’s forum Thursday sponsored by the Town of Bronson. The question and answer session will begin at 5:30 p.m. The public is invited to attend.
