Bronson Town Council members recognized two Students of the Month at their Jan. 24 board meeting with Councilman Tyler Voorhees awarding the certificates.

            Elijah Mitchell of Bronson Middle School, son of Garry Mitchell was nominated by Jennifer Hachman.

            Elijah is always quiet and respectful. He works hard to get ahead of his courses and strives to do his best every time.

            Rafael Alonso, of Bronson Middle School, son of Rafael Alonso, was nominated by Jonathan Irizarry. Rafi does a great job standing out amongst his peer group. He understands when it is time to stop playing and begin working. He is quick to get his peers on task and remind them of their duties as students. He works diligently and does an excellent job of self-advocating. He does a good job of thinking critically about our assignments, and always is seeking to improve.
