During the November 21 regular meeting in commissioner comments, Commission Mills instructed the board staff to include a link on the BoCC calendar of upcoming agendas. She said it was for transparency purposes and easy access for the public. If anyone wants a copy of the agenda, they must request it through the board office, and then they are added to the county email distribution list. Your email will then become a public record. Many folks do not want to be on a public email list and would prefer a link from the county event calendar.
There are two types of agendas, both types are emailed by request. One is itemized, with a very brief explanation, and the other includes the itemized list with supporting documents.
The devil is always in the details. I prefer the full version with supporting documents. The full version can be up to 400 or more pages, but it is easy to follow. Each item is in numerical order of discussion during the meeting. It will take a few minutes to download the full version of the PDF file.
I am on the email list and have the agenda. Here is the link for the December 7, detailed agenda: https://mccmeetings.blob.core.usgovcloudapi.net/levyfl-pubu/MEET-Packet-b111bd8769ab4bee9693c313dbc1ae8c.pdf
Here is the abbreviated version that takes a few seconds to download: https://mccmeetings.blob.core.usgovcloudapi.net/levyfl-pubu/MEET-Agenda-b111bd8769ab4bee9693c313dbc1ae8c.pdf
It’s as simple as pasting a link on the BoCC calendar. It took two seconds.
