Chiefland Commissioners Honor Their Student of the Month

Chiefland City Commissioners Monday welcomes one of their youngest ever Students of the Month. Commissioner Lewrissa Johns handed out the award.

Alexandria Lech, a preschool student at Chiefland Elementary School was nominated by Melanie Quincey who said Alexandria demonstrates excellent behavior inside and outside the classroom as well as her great manners. Alexandria is a very responsible student that treats classmates and teachers with respect. She is a hard worker and will do her best to complete her work and takes her time so it is just right. She loves to participate in large group discussions about her family and friends while answering a question about the topic. She is always willing to help her classmates and give a hand if someone is hurting. She is compassionate about school and making good choices. She loves to learn new things and she will try hard things with ease. She is a great role model for her peers. Alexandria comes in every morning with a big smile on her face ready to start her day. We love her so much she is a blessing to have in class.
