The 2018 Chiefland City Election is scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 7 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at City Hall.
The seats of Group 2 Commissioner Don Lawrence and Group 4 Commissioner Teresa Barron will be on the ballot.
Election qualifying fee is $448. Candidates cannot qualify by petition. The city’s charter doesn’t allow for
qualifying by petition, according to City Manager Mary Ellzey.
The qualifying period for candidates is Monday, June 11 through Thursday, June 14 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
