Chiefland City Commissioners honored their Student of the Month Monday with Commissioner Norman Weaver making the presentation.
Macy Eplee, a 6th grader at Chiefland Middle High School was nominated by the 6th-grade teachers. Macy is one of the most respectful and trustworthy students. She has a smile that lights up the room. She is inquisitive in class and works hard each step of the way to assure she is fully grasping the task at hand. She advocates for herself by not being afraid to ask questions. She is a shining example of what will be an amazing future full of successes!
Students of the Month receive a framed certificate from commissioners and a $20 Walmart Gift Card courtesy of Chiefland Rotary Club.
