Long Line Indicates Tire Amnesty Day a Success

Chairman John Meeks emailed this pic at 9:54 this morning so I am sharing. I would have posted earlier but I just got back myself from helping a friend load his truck with tires from his neighborhood after I took my truckload.

I saw the line when I was there and hoped a commissioner or two was there to take pictures. Looks like a huge success!! Can’t wait to hear the numbers at Tuesday’s regular Board meeting.

I will say some folks were really dedicated to the cause. A passenger in fairly new looking Toyota car took three tires from the back seat and six more out of the trunk! Gotta love the spirit and enthusiasm!
