Taxpayers of Levy County are looking for That Special Someone for 2018 Election

Salary and Benefits:

Guarantee 4 yrs. at $35,310 annual pay, retirement, paid travel and education (much better than any EMT’s or firefighter’s upward mobility education options – EMT starting pay is $9:15 per hour & pay for your own classes on own time), insurances (health, life, dental). FYI: Levy County health insurance is ranked 5th in the state.

We Are Looking For:
• A leader with common sense- some call it ‘walking around sense’

• Fiscal conservative

• Thinks outside of the box – or just thinks before jumping out there without all the facts.

• Person who has an understanding of basic contract 101 & negotiation skills. Must know how to read basic contract language with ability to read starting and ending dates, terms & conditions and prepare ahead if renewal is approaching.

• Someone with excellent communication skills, has the pulse of the county, interacts with the people that employ them (we-taxpayers) and those that perform the services (employees)

Please, No RINOs, (Republicans In Name Only) we have already met quota.

If you believe a P.R. puff piece is the best way to run the county or cover up the stink with meaningless words & actions, please for the sake of the county don’t bother running for office.

Time is fast approaching to qualify – Stay tuned, will keep you informed. I did not see a calendar of important dates on the Supervisor of Elections Office website for deadlines for qualifying, etc. but I will try to post those important dates as soon as I find that information.
